"I came to Kolkata all the way from Mumbai just for you!"
With these warm words, famous antique collector Suneet Shrimal began his interview with Veritas Times. He travels across India to collect rare and old items—not just to collect them, but to preserve the history and emotions behind them.
The special interview took place at Iconic Kolkata. Along with Suneet Shrimal were popular actress and model Swati Sarkar and well-known Kolkata model "Miss Kolkata" Madhabilata. Their presence made the event even more special, connecting the past with the present.
Veritas Times asked Suneet Shrimal:
Q: What is the main reason for your visit to Kolkata?
Suneet Shrimal:
"I came from Mumbai only to connect with people here. If anyone has old items at home—like furniture, clocks, jewelry, utensils, or even clothes—that they no longer use, we are happy to buy them. We always offer a fair price. Because we believe—Old is Gold."
Q: Do you have an emotional connection to these antiques?
Suneet Shrimal:
"Absolutely. Every old item has a story, a history. I’m not just buying things—I’m buying memories and moments. That’s why I came here myself, not through any agent."
Swati Sarkar added:
"This is not just a business—it's a way to protect and preserve our culture. Suneetji’s work is truly inspiring."
Madhabilata said:
"Today’s generation often throws away old items. But many of those things carry great value and memories. This kind of effort is bringing new respect for the past."
A Special Message from Suneet Shrimal:
If you have old, valuable things at home that you no longer use, don’t throw them away.
