Army Officer Disappears During Morning Walk in Madhya Pradesh, Search Underway

Sagar, Madhya Pradesh 

An Army officer posted at the Mahar Regiment Centre (MRC) in Sagar has gone missing after heading out for his routine morning walk, according to local police sources.

Lieutenant Colonel Pradeep Kumar Nigam, a resident of Gwalior, reportedly left his residence around 6:30 AM on Monday for his regular walk but has not returned since. Despite initial search efforts by Army personnel, no trace of him has been found.

Additional Superintendent of Police Lokesh Sinha stated that a missing person complaint was registered at the Cantonment police station after the officer could not be located. "Police and Army teams are jointly conducting search operations. CCTV footage from nearby areas is being examined for possible leads," Mr. Sinha told PTI. 

An FIR has been filed, and investigations are ongoing to trace the whereabouts of the missing officer.
